Redwood Outdoor Designs respects your privacy. By opting into our SMS messaging service, you agree to the following terms regarding how we handle your data:
• Data Collection: We will collect your name, email address, mailing address, and mobile phone number when you sign up for SMS updates. The information will be collected verbally over the phone or in person 
• Data Usage: We use your data solely for customer care purposes, including responding to client inquiries, sending reminders, scheduling appointments, and providing notifications.
• Data Security: We protect your data with secure storage measures to prevent unauthorized access.
• Data Retention: We retain your information as long as you are subscribed to our SMS service. You may request deletion at any time.
• MESSAGE AND DATA RATES MAY APPLY. Your mobile carrier may charge fees for sending or receiving text messages, especially if you do not have an unlimited texting or data plan.
• Messages are recurring, and message frequency varies.

Consultation

Most companies will come out, ask what you want, give you a price, and then do whatever you tell them to do so long as you agree to pay for it. We schedule sixty to ninety minutes with every client and then provide options and insights. This is a true consultation, not a sales call. We talk ourselves out of jobs all the time because we aren’t afraid to tell you that installing an expensive feature or solution might run counter to your stated goals or needs. During this process, we’re working together to make sure the project will be a good fit for both of us.

Design

Take advantage of one of two options. You may either get a detailed free estimate on the spot or request our inexpensive design services. When you work with us, you save 85% on design services and receive a 3D site rendering of the finished product when you receive your detailed quote. You don’t have to go to a separate professional—we handle everything in-house. You also have the option of asking us for a full landscape architect’s plan, should you desire one.

Installation

The same team who designs your backyard executes the design. Throughout the process, we’re taking steps to make your life easier, such as keeping you in the loop on expected deliveries, telling you when labor will start, and sticking to your project until it is done.

Do I need to call 811?
We’ll happily notify 811 for you before we start working.
Because we only take one project at a time and don’t ever have to leave to handle someone else’s work, most projects take between 5 and 10 days. We’ll give you a more precise schedule when we write your detailed quote.
Be ready with pictures of other designs you enjoy and a description of how you want to use the space. A space great for entertaining is very different from a space designed for dogs and kids to run around and have fun. We can design anything from a tropical paradise to a garden space straight out of Southern Living, so long as we understand what you’re trying to accomplish.
No. We’re just as happy to take your 1-day project as we are to take another client’s 12-day project. If we’ve decided our skills are a good fit for your needs and you decide you agree with that assessment, we’re going to do the work to the best of our ability, no matter what.

We’ve done everything from $3,000 jobs to six-figure projects. We’re happy to provide you with a detailed quote that tells you exactly what we’re charging and why we’re charging it.

 

We’re never the least expensive option, as our focus is on quality, customer care, and beautiful, long-lasting results. That means we will not cut corners. Nevertheless, we believe that we provide the highest value for the money you’ll be spending and assure you that we stand by our quotes once we give them. That means no mid-project surprises or sudden spikes in budgets or schedules.

 

We try to keep our prices as reasonable as possible. If you would like to use us for your project but the price is getting in the way, let us know! We will be happy to work as hard as we can to keep your project within your budget goals.

We charge a small $50 consultation fee, but if that is an obstacle for you, we’re happy to provide rough pricing over the phone and via text. Just provide pictures and approximate measurements; we want to be as helpful as we can be!
We do our best to provide all quotes within 24 hours of the original walk-through. Your quote may take longer if we are unusually busy or if we have to confirm pricing and availability for any of the materials you request.
When you accept the quote on our client hub, you lock in your spot on our schedule. The designer you worked with from the start will carry your project through to completion. We will immediately reserve materials and schedule labor. We will let you know as soon as we have a tentative time on our schedule for you!
Absolutely! We are fully covered by liability and worker’s compensation insurance, and we will be happy to provide proof of insurance upon request.
Yes, we do! Our quotes assume you will be paying with a check, but we do accept credit card payments for a 3% processing fee.
